The Mosquito Sentry is the only large area non-toxic mosquito repellent available. It is placed in the center of your outdoor gathering and produces a non-toxic vapor of plant compounds that repel mosquitoes. In optimal conditions of medium to high humidity and little or no wind, it can protect about 900 sq. ft., an area 30' x 30'. It has a 1.5 gallon tank that will last for 20 hours. You turn it on only when you are outside. It is safe for people, pets and food. Please note that it is not suitable for indoors, even tents, or for large crowds of people.

Unlike mosquito traps which attract and kill mosquitoes and other biting insects, the Mosquito Sentry keeps them away from you.  You place it near you to protect the area you inhabit outdoors.  You can also put it near open doorways to protect a building. If you have moderate to heavy mosquito density, you should also get one or more traps.

The Mosquito Sentry requires no assembly, installation or maintenance. You plug it in, fill the tank, and turn it on either at the machine or by the included remote control. It has a count-down timer to show the amount of repellent remaining in the tank, and a warning light when the repellent is getting low. It automatically shuts off when empty.

The dual vapor outlets are at the top of the machine. The vapor is composed of sub-micron particles that are not noticeable. They do not make your skin feel damp, and apart from a slight floral odor, will not be perceived at all.

The Mosquito Sentry is totally Green - no insecticides/no DEET. Mosquito Sentry Repellent is 100% natural and “green,” and is made from plant oils that are exempt from EPA registration. In addition, the FDA has declared that the ingredients are safe and even acceptable as food additives. Furthermore, independent toxicity lab tests confirm that these plant oils are safe in all aspects for humans and pets: skin, oral, eyes, dermal, and inhalation. As a result, your family and pets are not exposed to any harsh or potentially dangerous insecticides, unlike almost all other repellents.

The compounds used in the Mosquito Sentry have been proven effective by both field and university testing. The repellent material is significantly more effective than Deet (used in Off!) and Citronella, the two most widely used repellents in the world.

Repellents are good for light to moderate mosquito activity.  One Sentry will protect up to 15 people in a 30' x 30' area under medium to hight humidity and little or no wind. More people will overwhelm the vapor and windy or very dry conditions will not allow the vapor to distribute as widely. For larger areas or more people, you may need more of these, mosquito traps or both.
